We're filling in the gaps.
The latest City of London Snapshot Report estimated that 1500 - 2000 people are experiencing homelessness in our city—the actual number is much larger.
Federal funding is building Hubs and new affordable housing units in London.
While these developments are essential, the system is currently lacking in
direct support for community members.
That's where we come in.
We provide wraparound services that prepare community members for long-term stability and success. Through these connections, we can better advocate for individuals and policy change that will meaningfully impact lives.
Our Story
Advocate Connections is a not-for-profit corporation founded in 2022 to provide advocacy and
direct assistance for homeless and marginalized groups.
After years of volunteering in the social sector, we saw firsthand how overwhelmed shelters and hubs struggle to meet a growing need for essential services. Many people fall through the cracks, unable to access medical care, financial aid, or stable housing.
That's why we created Advocate Connections—to bridge those gaps, offer guidance, and make sure everyone has the resources they need to move forward.

Where Your Donations Go
At Advocate Connections, we are proud to be a 100% volunteer-based organization. This means that every dollar donated goes directly to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and marginalization in our community.
Our advocacy work is person-centered, meaning we respond to the unique and often complex needs of each individual we support. Donations allow us to provide immediate, practical assistance that can make a real difference in someone’s day-to-day life.
Your generosity helps us provide essential supports such as:
-
Transportation assistance; bus tickets and taxi vouchers so individuals can attend medical appointments, court dates, or important services
-
Food support; grocery gift cards and Tim Hortons cards when someone is hungry and in need of a warm meal
-
Basic survival supplies; tents, tarps, sleeping bags, and other essentials for those living outdoors
-
Emergency and practical needs; helping individuals access the resources they need while we advocate on their behalf
